Wow, it doesn't take long to fall off the face of the blogging world; I felt myself gradually drifting back into my old ways.

I watched the World Cup final this morning - it ended up a total fiasco! How red would your face be conceding the game due to bad light, then realising you either had to come back the next day for *three overs*... or just come back and finish the game? To say nothing of the Aussies, who did all their celebrating before they actually won, which left the actual celebrations a rather muted affair. It was amusing to watch at least.

Did I say red faces? Hmm, maybe not; those Sri Lankans don't blush too easily.

And if you're after a less ponderous read, this is a blog I recommend: www.dooglesherlock.blogspot.com

Nobody said it would be easy to read; it just takes a little perseverance.

That's right... My summer was just wedding after wedding. Andy and Jane's, Matt and Neelam's Boss and Cate's and Anna and Matt's. Hmm. Matt got married twice? Sure felt like at least one of them did, there were so many!

I guess Dom and I were the serial wedding crashers - too shameful even to be put at the singles table! Ah well; fun times were had by all. Who's next to jump on the marriage bandwagon??

OK it could have been any image I posted to see if it would work, but this one easily had the most character. What I like especially is the jealous look of Craig in the background; no doubt he wishes he was wearing such an effective top...

Mum would be proud to see the top that she gave me going to such good use :)

I return to you now at the turn of the century...

This system SUCKS! I typed up a post, added some pics, found out that the 'adding pics' function turned out to be for novelty only, so I wrote a whole lot to try and describe it, then I find the 'publish post' button leads to the same error! ARRRRRGH! OK... how about this time around...

And sorry to my faithful readers and stalkers alike; I have spent the last four months procrastinating (true to form). Actually, scratch that; it was three months procrastinating, the rest was procrastination recuperation.

And further to the title of this post, on the news tonight they said that due to global warming, by the turn of the century sea levels could have risen by as much as half a metre! Quick, everybody, panic now!
